EVENTS ASSISTANT – Canada Summer Job
Jennifer Ashleigh Children’s Charity (JACC) is a registered provincial charity based in Uxbridge, ON. JACC provides financial assistance to seriously ill children and their families across Ontario. Since 1990, we have been improving the quality of life for seriously ill children and their families…when love is not enough. We offer a fun and warm team environment, and a meaningful work experience.
JACC is seeking a short-term contract Events Assistant (12 weeks) to help plan our Virtual Fundraiser in September 2021, in addition to other duties. This position will report to our Events Coordinator and assist in all aspects of planning and execution of this event and would commence late June/early July 2021 until late September. This position may lead to further opportunities within JACC.
As this position is funded by a Canada Summer Jobs Grant agreement, please familiarize yourself with the eligibility and program objectives.
The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills, an interest or experience with special events, and a “can do” attitude.
